Phoon Hoon

I have read a many posts bagging Ford and the T. Now it's hit the mainstream press. I want to know: would you buy a T again?

Im pretty happy with my ute, only probs was a leak in the throttle body which caused a rough idle, and a few rattles in the interior. But nothing major and I keep reminding myself its not new any more nearly 2 years old and I couldnt be happier. I will purchase another ford (8 or 6T yet to be determined) in due time and I couldnt go jap or european, I have a thing of beating euro cars on the streets and on GT4. I will buy Expensive Daewoo before euro. I cant see the value especially in a BMW M3 which my GF's neighbour has. Its brand new and nice but it goes ok and I just cant see the $$$$ in it. I would have more fun in a Clubby 6L then a M3. But that's just me I guess always going for the under dogs. :gfight:

I've been hanging around LS1/Ford forums for years getting the info on these cars. I've come to the opinion, by a lowish Km 2nd hand car, and do almost all the work yourself.

Holdens and Fords always seem to have problems new. By the time they are 2 or 3 years old, most of the bugs are out, fixes are known and theres about another 3 or 4 great years of ownership with minimal hassels. Plus you get to test drive the actual car your buying and look over it in detail.

If you guys are hoping going german means sunshine and flowers think again. Mercs are recently the most unreliable car on the roads, BMW have had a few share of problems (inc Nikasil engines that basically involved BMW swapping hundreads of 4.0L V8 engines out).. Audi proberly builds the most solid cars, but they have other flaws (expensive, not as involving, rather bland, FWD or AWD only, slow).. If you want that save a few grand and buy japanese..

Best car I have ever driven ..

On a cold night... 10 psi.....Some Octane booster.... Some windy mountain roads.... Long straights.... Music cranking..... And dusting XR8's, HSV's, SS, CV8's, rx8's (that was really embarressing, poor dude) one after the other....

Maybe I have had a sheltered life, but nothing has come close to my T, personally.........

Had some very cool moments and some very scary moments, and if I could do it all again, I would be there in an instant.......

HgAg - Love that T
