Big deal, if you can afford $50K on a car, spend $1500 & shove more boost into it, wether your T has 200kw's or 240kw's, STOCK IS SLOW

Yeah - thought I'd got away "ok" after my uninvited "edit" at the last service.

Couple of weeks since then and just had a chance to a 500K round trip up the coast and back. It's gone to crap - all the good setup work with the CAPA piggy(which has gone V nicely since new) is now stuffed..... hestitation's with the cruise on going up hills, strange things happening on full power overtaking.... and so on.

So - looks like the edit is on it's way. Wonder if CAPA are doing trade-in's for the old magic black boxes...?????

ps - thankyou Ford Australia. Great work. :spoton:

We obviously don't get the motoring section in Vic, cos we have the Herald Sun cars guide on Fridays, and seeing that both papers are from the smae publisher, we will probably get it this Friday.

Can someone scan a copy of the article and post it? I am most interested to have a read of it.

Edit will affect your warranty.

Ford shouldnt be able to detect edit. You can upload your standard tune before the car goes to Ford.

Flukey.

is there a link to this thread on holding back power?? Im in the market for a mk11 but after reading this it makes you think.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

If youre planning to modify the car then I dont think it will really matter whether they are holding back the power.

BUT if they are, then its pretty damn crap that this is their 'solution'

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

that's alright then cos I've already got the capa box, all I need now is the car.
