I remember Daniel posting something about Simon saying that the injectors Daniel supplied (Eugene's) were different in some way to the stock (and Nizpro's) that simon thought would be a problem, but he fitted them anyway...

I can't remember what the problem was but I think it had something to do with a fuel divider or something within the injector...

The Nizpro injectors are probably just a larger injector aswell, (maybe someone that knows can tell us exactly what they are). This being the case why is there a difference in how they respond to tuning?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I thought Nizpro used the standard injector's and have them re-drilled?

Eugenes injectors have a wider rampup and the computer expects a certain characteristic. And yes Nizpro's injectors are the standard ones drilled out.

I've got a drill, anyone wants to borrow it :glad:

Sorry guys, but I don't know the technicalities of the injectors. I spoke to Robin who had a good explaination, but sure how to explain it.

However, the guys with the piggy backs are ok as the signal is bend AFTER the computer.

I'll think you'll find that the signal is "benT" BEFORE the factory computer. mainly the load sersors outputs are "bent" to get different outputs from the factory PCM...

Fark, so does this mean it's my car ?

Oh well, will see how the new injectors go. So far so good, yesterday doing a but of running around, lots of stop start and aircon on, approx 110klm to quarter of a tank, which is better than when the car was standard.
