drcook Member 752 Member For: 20y 8m 3d Location: leonay Posted 26/04/05 06:04 AM Share Posted 26/04/05 06:04 AM I've had my springs, injectors and edit all custom tuned by Nizpro about a month ago. I had issues to fuel consumption, and more importantly, fuel mixtures but found that it was the variation of Eugenes injectors as against the factory ones. The computer kept on adjusting my fuel mixtures as it's constantly learning. Whereas the guys that are running piggyback don't have a problem due to the signal bending.Simon has looked into my issue, one minute its running lean and another time it's running too rich. The dyno day at Autotechnique had shown ance again that the car was running dangeriously lean where Mario had to back out of the dyno run at 227 rwkw. Simon had tuned my car to 262rwkw.My car has been back to Simon twice now, each time when he's been adjusting my injectors, it's like running too lean and keeps on adjusting, then it gets to a point where it goes too rich. So he backs off the mixture and then it's running too lean again. Simon has invested a lot of time on my car trying to get it right. Approx 11 hours on the dyno ! Yesterday he got it spoton except for the top end where it was running too rich. Because of not knowing what the computer will do ( lean or rich ), I settled on replacing Eugenes injectors with Nizpro ones. Results, well I think that they speak for themselves...... 285 RWKW I'd like to post up the dyno sheet, but I can't get the scanner to work. But thanks to my brilliant partner, she suggested that I use the digital camera <{POST_SNAPBACK}>just wondering. I havent touched my car from stock but getting interested. how much has this cost you ( injectors, labour, anything else needed to do these mods). I would be intesrested in getting nizpro injectors but have no idea about modifying these cars. Will they do a swap and some cash on top for your current injectors for there drilled out ones ? Who actually drills out injectors ? ch0pper Member 204 Member For: 20y 2m 10d Location: S/W Sydney Posted 26/04/05 06:39 AM Share Posted 26/04/05 06:39 AM Those injectors are very cheap compared to the other alternatives on the market. Perhaps the quality just isn't good enough to deliver the type of performance required. Which is no way any fault of Eugene's, after all he's just relaying the info he's been given. But it could be a possibility...<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Cheap is fine by me, they do a fantastic job.. the only thing that has a problem with them are my tires Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/17145-new-injectors-massive-gains/page/3/#findComment-246688 Share on other sites

What's stoping the power production from then on? exhaust? intercooler? It looks like there's plenty of room to improve on the 285rwkw's given how quickly it's made. I'm interested because I've been considering the same same kit, but am not in any rush to modify just yet Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/17145-new-injectors-massive-gains/page/3/#findComment-246719 Share on other sites

They ship them off somewhere for them to be drilled out, but I don't know where. To improve the car any further I need to :-1st Strengthen the SSS - a must2nd Larger Intercooler with spray kit like this guy 3nd Exhaust But then again, I'm happy with the 285Rwkw, will probably take it easy for a while and wait for my tax return before doing the Auto upgrade.Any one after a set of Eugenes Injectors ? PM me and give me your contact details.Daniel Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/17145-new-injectors-massive-gains/page/3/#findComment-246996 Share on other sites
