I've had my springs, injectors and edit all custom tuned by Nizpro about a month ago. I had issues to fuel consumption, and more importantly, fuel mixtures but found that it was the variation of Eugenes injectors as against the factory ones. The computer kept on adjusting my fuel mixtures as it's constantly learning. Whereas the guys that are running piggyback don't have a problem due to the signal bending.

Simon has looked into my issue, one minute its running lean and another time it's running too rich. The dyno day at Autotechnique had shown ance again that the car was running dangeriously lean where Mario had to back out of the dyno run at 227 rwkw. Simon had tuned my car to 262rwkw.

My car has been back to Simon twice now, each time when he's been adjusting my injectors, it's like running too lean and keeps on adjusting, then it gets to a point where it goes too rich. So he backs off the mixture and then it's running too lean again.

Simon has invested a lot of time on my car trying to get it right. Approx 11 hours on the dyno ! Yesterday he got it spoton except for the top end where it was running too rich. Because of not knowing what the computer will do ( lean or rich ), I settled on replacing Eugenes injectors with Nizpro ones.

Results, well I think that they speak for themselves...... 285 RWKW :pooh:

I'd like to post up the dyno sheet, but I can't get the :pooh: scanner to work.

But thanks to my brilliant partner, she suggested that I use the digital camera :gooff:

Great result Daniel, and good on Simon for being so persistent in fixing the problem.

Mate that's now some serious power, I have one word for you that you may not want to hear, AUTO!

I would look at doing something with it, as at that power it's not going to last too long.

Congrats again though buddy, and enjoy the ride! :gooff:

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that I was not after bigger figures. I would have been happy with 260odd rwkw, but hey, can't grummble about an additional 20odd Rwkw :gooff:

Too big I'm guessing for the application I'm guessing.

Great result Daniel. JB's right I think your auto could need some attention.

One thing I don't understand is why the edit is having a problem with the injectors, it doesn't make sense. The Eugene injectors are only a larger injector almost identical to the 968's. The Nizpro injectors are probably just a larger injector aswell, (maybe someone that knows can tell us exactly what they are). This being the case why is there a difference in how they respond to tuning?

Those injectors are very cheap compared to the other alternatives on the market. Perhaps the quality just isn't good enough to deliver the type of performance required. Which is no way any fault of Eugene's, after all he's just relaying the info he's been given.

But it could be a possibility...

Both injectors are Bosch. The only difference I believe is that one is from a rare volvo and the other from mass produced Fords in USA. This is why there is a price difference due to the rarity of the 968's.
