hmm, just spotted/read this thread, I think I'll even look into this, although my stock 6 probably isnt going to go like a T without a few other mods too ;)

Especially good for overtaking on single lane roads, just ask anyone that travelled the Brisbane Valley Highway yesterday

I just ordered one for my car; do they come with detailed instructions on how to fit them? Would a competent mechanic be able to do it ?

They are very simple if you have a soldering iron you can do it there is just 3 wires to join, the yellow wire loins to your trans harness and the white and brown wire join to one wire in the ecu harness, the fitting instructions are easy any problems during fitting these you can call me and I will talk you through it.. call on 0404635113.....

jeff

Is it just a straight switch ? Or is there some circuit involved ?

Grass, there are 3 wires that get wired into the trans and engine ecu(easy to do as it comes with instructions) they are connected to the actual trans module (small black box) and then there is a toggle switch connected to the module. Its all joined up as one so all you have to do connect 3 wires and put the module somewhere :spoton:

Just a question for any of the guys who has had this trans mod for a while, when I first fitted it it was chirping 1st to 2nd but recently I havnt been able to do it (ive tried on the same road and conditions etc) it still shifts firm however, any ideas why its not chirping anymore? Car has minor mods only, no piggyback or edit etc.
