You'd have to with that quote and refusal on the exhaust. Just ring them again and get another operator.Even do it on the website.AAMI will cover most mods for the T at least until you start talking intercooler and above<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Revised quote - AAMI $1396 (with exhaust)Its apparently my post code - in reginol NSW the same post codes cover large areas - some good and some not so good. I guess there are some areas not so good in my post code.NRMA - $1100 (with exhaust after I told them I would take out other insurance with them - they are cheaper than current mob so I may just do that).Alliannz - will not touch itInsurance broker - Too Hard Basket GIO - $1600 (WITHOUT EXHAUST)!!!!!! You'll find that the Xr6 is only $100 less to insure than the XR6T so you are doing OK there. I just changed my ute to a sedan and is now $1147 per annum covered for unlimited mods.... My post code screwed me over as well... If I lived 800 metres up road it would be under $1000 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/17125-insurance-what-a-load-of-crap/page/2/#findComment-245497 Share on other sites

I got a Herrod Spacer and throttle body, SS induction and K&N pod and they then wanted nearly 5800 per annum. When researching quotes for my XR6 N/A most companys would still not insure me but Just cool cut thier price to a measly $3900 p/a. WOO HOO!Anyhoo I got a quote from AAMI based on me turning 25 4 days before my expected delivery date of my XR6 and they quoted me $2200 still! I think it's due to where I live. With the flexi premium thing they offer where you can raise your excess to $2000, I cut my premium in half to $1100.Damo Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/17125-insurance-what-a-load-of-crap/page/2/#findComment-245668 Share on other sites
