I have a couple of choices.

Preston Auto's are one and the other is the guy who builds Rachael Splatts transmittions for her Rail Dragster.

He is keen to have a look at the BA Auto.  I had a chat with him over the phone.  Builds some pretty tough transmittions for drag cars and such.

Prestons are pretty good :kissmy: Me and George (Blown BA) had ours done last week...cant give it stick for the next two weeks though...geee that's going to be hard

Good luck with who ever you go with :gooff:

Mate I can only wish my local dealer was as good and its a fair drive to the next one unfortunately. I had been happy with the service, until the dealer principal (Grant McCarroll Ford Armidale) took one look at my new car (not from him) and told me to literally piss off with my car. Apparently this is standard treatment from him as I met someone today who's wife was reduced to tears by him, for buying their then new Fairmont from another dealer and daring to have it in for a service. If you dont buy from him (regardless of price, service or whatever) then you are held to ransom by the *beep*.

I just wish we had a dealer who gave a stuff about customer relations like yours does. Make sure you congratulate him on looking after you - certainly some other Ford dealers dont do anything remotely as good as you experienced.

Great news Macka, a car is only as good as its dealer and you have a pearler. You know Ford put a lot of effort into making sure there customers are happy, so the dealer plays a big part in making this happen considering it's no skin off there nose even if the claim is some what questionable. It's better to have a happy customer that will continue buying that product because at the end of the day Ford has plenty of money put aside for claims anyway. :spoton:

I did'nt but my car from the Castlemaine Dealer but I chose to have my car serviced there in stead of driving to Bendigo for services. They were more than happy to do the services. I rang Brian Dunnes in Bendige about warranty issues and they said, to take the car to the nearest dealer. Does'nt matter where you take it for warranty issues. Ford is a national company, Who ever is closest to you or if you have a prefered dealer they should look after you. The dealer still gets paid for any work they do.

I.ve been getting requests from Ford dealers to design one that will connect up to the factory intake.

Should be done by Friday all going to plan. :spoton:
