It seems that team HgAg really have an inferiority complex.

Lashing out at every other real "colour' is no defence, and in no way helps your cause.

And whilst you are supported by Ken, your standing in the real colour community will never improve.

There are real colours, and then there's HgAg.

I chose Acid Rush because I think its unique and looks good... It also looks different at different times of the day or night.  A lot of people bag it but I like it and that's what counts... I couldn't give a toss what everyone else thinks and don't regret my choice - After all it IS the original colour of the BA XR6 range as this was the colour that they used in their test cars.

There can sometimes be a little bit of herd mentality when it comes to choosing colour..  ie blueprint!!!  A few people like it and buy it and then others think "popular colour - must be the best" then in no time every second XR6 on the road is blue.... 

For the record - My second choice would be Phantom and my third would be Lightning Strike.

There is no doubt that we of the HgAg Team cannot avoid the constant reference to our colour being that of an under-coat.  There has been much snickering and pointing of fingers suggesting that all other cars are more worthy because they have a final layer of paint to distinguish it from the original base under-coat.

If this is our lot….then so be it.  I find no shame in being part of the pillar of society from which all other derivatives are born.  Just remember, when your cars get damaged, and the paintwork needs touching up, you will always return to your humble beginnings….Mercury Silver.

If we take time to reflect, then being branded as the under-coat is not so bad….after all, look at some of the alternatives :

Oh, and BTW - Some dipschit chipped the paint on my car, and the undercoat is brown

IMO the XR6T's look good in all colors available
