a question from a newbie

if you have premium sound and use the screen to play dvd/xbox media centre is there an audio input as well or only video ???

You do not need the colour center screen to watch DVD's.

You can get the roof mounted unit for the rear passengers, or you could install another screen in the front if you did not have the premo sound.

The inputs are A/V, but not 5.1, so you do not have the audio full effect.

There is a thread somewhere that shows you how to make the interface plug from a XF demister plug, or you can get the propper Blau one for $240 on the internet.

Options:

1. Blaupunkt Media Interface which is about $180 and used to link a Blau input selector into the ICC (Premium) which then has a DVD player plugged in. Proven to work and is reliable etc

2. Any "retail" DVD Player with a custom SCART RGB cable running in NTSC output mode.

3. Or you could wait a little longer and see what comes available...
