I have never stated in any post that a stock fuel system can deliver 330 rwkw.  As far as the 9.5l/100km claim goes.  You have never filled my car up or been on a cruise in it, so I don't really care what you think.  I have plenty of witness from this forum who have seen it during cruises.

That would be your dash display being out because of the larger injector fitment. You change the injector to a bigger one......the dash fuel reading is skewed lower....

I have owned a T, and worked with dozens. 9.5l/100km in a COMBINED cycle, not a 4th gear cruise down the highway...is fantasy.

You certainly don't offer much technical enhancement to this forum.

Maybe not, but at least when I do its accurate. Food for thought there.

No dash readings actual fuel usage. Set the mileage to zero fill the tank and drive till is says its empty. refill the tank and check mileage travelled.

Try these distances from cruises. Get out your map and work it out if you like.

Fill up at Castlemaine.

Castlemaine to Melbourne meet forum members. Travel to Albury, Blown Ba can confirm cruise speed. Drive across to Rutherglen. leave Rutherglen travell to Yarrawonga, Sheperton then back to Castlemaine. No refuel till I return to Castlemaine.

Another trip from Castlemaine to Sydney.

Distance travelled before refill

Castlemaine to Goulbourne. Via Violet Town then up the Hume

You do the maths

Plenty of other trips need I go on.

Fantasy I don't think so.

I think street tuner is correct ,I just filled up mine and it took 53.7 litre's for 385 kms that works out to 13.95 litres per hundred km and my trip meter showed 14 litre's per hundred avg. So you'd have to say its near perfect. Before when I had an xced on it it show'd 8.5 litres per hundred but it still stopped going at 430km travelled.Ive picked up about 40 km per tank with the Edit. I find it impossible to believe a T could go mid 700 km on a tank even with the bigger tank in a ute.

I get 13.0l per 100km or523 km per tank in a sedan with 80% city driving 68liters with a edit @270rwkw.

next sat I going to melb and should do it on a tank.when the car had a exed I was up around 14.5 per 100km or 468km city.

in std form when I got the car it got about 14 per 100.

the 0 to 120km cruise has not changed at all will, get about 9-10 per 100 in the country.last time I went to melb I got 10.0 on the way over and 9.2 on the way back, normally fill up at flemington and then again at murry bridge or tailem bend.

since the edit has been in the avg fuel on the dash has been correct to the .2 as I always do a fill every time

Maybe you had better fit a Shaker Scoop to your bonnet. :spoton: Anyway believe what you like I have witnesses.

Not looking forward to going back to 580km/tank now the car is stock again. :spit:
