We are looking for real figures not what your dash readout says, especially once you have modded any part of the cars fuel/air system

I find it impossible to believe a T could go mid 700 km on a tank even with the bigger tank in a ute.

My utes been pretty close to 700km on a tank!

If I had to do a long highway trip I reckon I could better that.

700km per tank in a ute??????????

Sh*t, I'm lucky to get 450, and that is really taking it easy!

I have even perfected the art of going uphill at 15l/km!!

My ute must be crap. :( Always happens to me!

I think street tuner is correct ,I just filled up mine and it took 53.7 litre's for 385 kms that works out to 13.95 litres per hundred km and my trip meter showed 14 litre's per hundred avg. So you'd have to say its near perfect. Before when I had an xced on it it show'd 8.5 litres per hundred but it still stopped going at 430km travelled.Ive picked up about 40 km per tank with the Edit. I find it impossible to believe a T could go mid 700 km on a tank even with the bigger tank in a ute.

Mine does 620kms per tank city driving as a ute, my dash says average of 12.5L/100kms and my calcs reflect 12.9L/100kms so its very close. The difference is where the DTE says 0km and I can still drive 50km.

Dont get confused here.

Anyone can get 9.5l/100km on a constant light load freeway cruise. Stock computer, piggyback computer, carby even. Throw the city cycle in though as well Macka. Ford do when they put that little yellow sticker on the windscreen.

No confusion here :spoton:

Don't live in a City so I cannot help you on that one.

Never had over 580km out of the stock PCM, then again the T had only travelled 3000km before I started modding it. Now its back to stock after 24000km, I bet I still won't get much more than 580km out of it.

How many other people who do a lot of hwy cruising in their Ute achieve 600+ km

I'd like to here from them.

Next you'll be telling me that my speedo readings are out. :spoton:

I have gotten 750kms from one tank quite easily before. I average around 10L/100km 100km/h driving which means I could drive nearly 800kms before the car coughed and died.

I drove from Brisbane to Bundaberg and back on one tank. THe fuel light came on at BP Caboolture which is 70kms north of Brisbane (my house) and I drove into the drive way 20km past the 0km DTE. When I filled up I put in 79L of premium.

Round trip 760km on 79L of fuel which is 10.39L/100km.

Brave. I've been to zero many times but not past. I'm hoping my fuel consumption doesnt alter dramatically with once edit goes in.
