Well I was pushing it quite hard after loading the 10psi edit into the XR6T, there was slight preignition in 2nd changed into 3rd and bang!

Anyone know how much it's going to cost me for a new Turbo? is anything else likely to be damaged?

Are u sure it is the turbo and not a pipe off some where.

Our car has done 84000 km at over 10 psi for all but 5000 km's of that and driven hard never been a problem.

doubt that your turbo has blown mate.... check all your plumbing... especially the the big black pipes that run along from your airbox into the turbo.... that's what happened to me on the 10psi map as well... the hoses blow of.... most likely you will need clamps so that you can reconnect the pipes.... Check the pipe that sits into the turbo and wriggle it hard with your hands.... if its lose, that's your problem.

when you drive it now, does it sound like a vacuum sucking???/ if so, your pipes have blown off.

there's an awful lot of debree and oil on the road from a hose off, and it went with a loud bang, I suspect top end and turbo, we'll find out Monday I guess

well sh1t!!!! that doesnt sound good at all..... good luck with it... the turbo should handle way more power then what a 10psi map can give you :censored:

I would suggest you remove the 10psi map and put it back to stock :censored:
