There's still a lot to be done with the car... suspension, CV/axles, diff, tyres, possibly sports (recaro?) seats, bodykit etc ... it never seems to stop; so it's still a work-in-progress.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

It is an awsome beast  More work to do on the mechanicals...fair enough - its easy to see why (I mean there is a ton of power to keep a hold of), but I do like the fact that it looks like a Wolf in Sheeps clothing!

Question about the heatshield, Not trying to be a smart arse but wouldn`t that also hold the heat in that the turbo generates? please respond nicely as I can see how this could be misinterpreted.

Stang,

The heat shield is covering the extractor manifold, and is there to protect everything in the engine bay from heat damage, as well as heat damage to the bonnet. WHile it does hold some heat, it's mainly around the manifold and heat (or more correctly hot discharge gases) aids spool time. The turbo is mounted down low (ie like factory), and I'm not sure if the shield extends down over the turbine housing.

Cheers

Robin.
