I hate TC and would rather have total control over what the vehicle is doing MYSELF. This also applies to some ABS systems which simply won't let you stop quickly enough in the dirt. Thankfully the Ford system is not too bad in this respect but I can still stop the car in a shorter distance on dirt with the ABS isolated. Pity there is no switch for this as there is for TC - some Euro cars have switchable ABS - with the Ford you have to pull the fuse which is not a very satisfactory or safe way to have to isolate it, esp if you forget to put it back in again and find you need it !!!! ASNU Member 261 Member For: 22y 6d Location: Brooklyn Posted 21/04/03 12:17 AM Author Share Posted 21/04/03 12:17 AM I am kind of used to this sort of vehicle looseing traction as my AU2 XR8 did the same thing in the wet,Just alot more controlable being a V8 and how the power was more progressive down low.These cars or utes are the most impressive thing I have driven for a long time and I have had 5 new Fords over 7 years.Just thinking back when I bought a brand new XR6 in 95 and thought it was sensational but this car not only would it make my last XR8 silly makes the last 5 look rather mundane.I dont now about you guys but I am having so much fun in this car.I have removed the T badges from the tailgate not that it stops idiots want to try you on and everyone of them has been hosed off.I think the only thing that would get close is another T in sedan form and that might be a debateable subject.Enjoy guys as I am having a ball.
