If it is the shaft it would vibrate at constant speeds as well as accelerating.I would have thought if it was only under load then it might be a different problem... balance shafts? (Do I have balance shafts?)

Its going in on Wednesday to find out.My theory is that its something to do when the arse end is dumped.
Guest brutebogart Guests Posted 17/04/05 08:58 AM Share Posted 17/04/05 08:58 AM I have had a vibration in the rear of my t since new the dealer here can't find anything wrong living in townsville I don't have a choice of dealers . I have just been on a run to tweed heads and back and is worse than ever, anything over 100ks it is noticable and gets worse in 5th and when overtaking it is bad enough that the sunvisors shake, the dealer must be waiting for something to fall off so they can find it . maybe they are going to tell me it is normal like the diff noise and the driveline clunks and shunts my t is 18months old with 40k on it on the up side when it does fail the new parts will last me longer . I'll follow your progress

But mine does it ONLY if its loaded. It only does it while I accelarate at any speed , it really feels like there's something wrong with the diff
