Went to Caldar last night. Best time was 13.2@106, with a 2.2 60ft. Mods are exhaust and custom tune. The car has 230rwkw, boost starts at 12 and tapers down to 9psi. I need to get that 60ft time down, any ideas?

Auto im guessing???? Try droping your tyre pressure's, and stall it up to around 2000-2200 rpm!!!

hey mate, most ppl seem to keep the 3.7 gears in the turbo, alot of the V8 boys do the 4.11 swap as they need to get their barges moving! The way the T makes its torque, I think the 4.11 gears would just fry the tyres!

A good 60' time makes all the difference. By my estimates whatever you can gain off the line in the first 60" time you will get at least that plus 50% at the end of the track. Hence if you spend a bit more time trying to sort out the launch it will make a big difference to the times.

My car runs the std 3.45 diff with the rebuilt 4sp auto. Everything has been matched to get the power to the ground off the mark at 3000rpm. Peak torque comes in at 3000rpm, stally 3000rpm, I launch at 3000 rpm. So far with the MT's running street fuel I have managed a 1.53 60' time with a bit of wheelspin off the mark.

I'm still waiting for Nizpro to send me the warranty replacement bits for my intank 044 setup and then we are going to tune the car with some 109 fuel and I will go out again to try and crack a mid 10s pass. I ran about 375rwkw on pump fuel to crack the 10.8 sec pass, We got another 40 odd rwkw on 109 fuel previously so it should give me a better MPH and at least a couple 10ths of a second at the end of the track.

This will happen before I replace the modified turbo with a decent unit and go for the low 10s pass and maybe put a half cage in the car. This wont happen until next winter.
