Out of 10 runs tonight best I could get was a 12.923 @ 108.69 mph with 2.212 60" time.

I think I need slicks for my next visit to the motorplex.. my launches really let me down.

XF Falcon - you just had to rub it in didn't you? LOL

I should also add that the car is in full street trim - tyres, spare wheel, back seat, sub amp cd cases etc.

The car weighs approx 1885kg with me in it, so its not a lightweight!

Dorko, was 27.4 degrees ambient temp and 37.3" track temp.

Car also in full street trim, including spare wheel, drinks/extra clothing for my spectating friends and the xbox in the boot :P

hehe senna_T, its sooo annoying when your in the 13.0's cos your only a bees pube away from being 12's.. and it seems so hard to get :( I wasn't going to leave that night till I at least got a 12.999 heh

Perhaps its worth taking out spare wheel and running on half a tank to drop some weight?

Have your MPH improved?

Well done mike! Awesome results for just tune and CAI really!

Cheers Mat, my mph has improved, went from 108 to 113, so it's definately making more power - I just don't think the heat helped, and track temp was 45degrees

I like the idea of running full weight, as this is what its like on the street. I think this carries a bit more respect when you build a car for the street and then race it how you drive it everyday.

I might ask Vic at CV if he can drive it for me one time, but I like doing it myself!
