Hey all,

Picked up my new Rapid T last week. After a decent wash today I took some pics to post here. The pics are quite large to download, but hang in there.

Options:

Leather

Sunroof

Premium Sound

Sports Steering

18's

Scuffs

Tint

I'm looking to get the Typhoon style gauges and twin dual exhausts. I'm also interested in hooking up more gear to the centre screen if anyone knows about this (I.e. Navigation, possibly DVD)?

I've been very happy with the car so far!!

One small thing, after a run through the Black Spur (Victorians know what I mean!), I had traction control coming on, even though it was switched off, when powering out of corners. The car did not feel at all like it was even thinking about losing traction. I thought this may be some kind of electronically controlled "go easy" run in period. Does anyone know about this?

Hope you like her.

Thanks,

clogz

Awesome looking car .. really love that colour. Not sure about that traction control issue. Maybe mention it a your first service. How do you find the 6 speed?

When TC is on (which is by default everytime you start your T), the TC light is off. When the computer activates TC, the TC light will flash and cut power to the accelerator.

If you turn off TC, then the TC light is fully lit until you reactivate it or restart the car.

As for mod'ing your new baby, use the search function for the forum. There is HEAPS of info on doing almost anything you want to your new T on the site.
