I called up herrod and wants an extra 150 for custom tune where's HPF in dandenong and doing 1300 for both box and tune!

Whatever you do, don't get a Herrod custom tune. If you look through the forum you will not find one quick car with a Herrod custom tune. If you want to get the edit talk to HPF or Nizpro, both have proven results. I think at the moment HPF are offering the cheaper custom tune. If you don't believe me talk to street tuna and ask him what his thoughts are.

Herrod's are an aftermarket parts dealer, not tuners.

As commonly mentioned in Vic

"Name one quick herrod tuned car" :spoton:

From what I have looked into Edit (the black box) is the same regardless of where you buy it.

The difference is with some Edit's you get the box only with 3 generic preset programs for you to use.

Other Edit's you get your vehicle custom tuned and then that tune saved.

I can't talk about how good the various suppliers of Edit are at tuning, but lets face it all the suppliers are people who have been in the performance market for a number of years.

The only way to have it custom tuned is on a dyno and that's where the price varies in the amount of dyno time allotted.
