The early weather forecast is for mostly sunny/dry weather coming into the weekend, will keep an eye on it as it gets closer, lets hope it stays that way.

The Mother's Day thing is really hard for me to get around - my wife has organised a family lunch at our house so my escape is unlikely. If a route map is posted, I may be able to disappear as soon as it passes for being polite.

Sorry

Ok here are a few maps of the meet points and cruise route. The first pic is Kings Park... the red circle indicates the car park we are meeting at (Frazer's car park) and the purple route shows the way we will go to get on to the Kwinana FWY south...

The next pic shows where the freeway ends and we continue on to Ennis Ave which joins onto Mandurah road...

And this pic shows the possible places to stop for the meet depending on other traffic and facilities. Apparently there are shops along mandurah terrace and good parks along the foreshore. The circled area looks like a good spot incase mandurah tce is too busy. The arrows show how to get onto mandurah terrace as my dad tells me it is a one way street... not too sure about this one though.

Print these out if you can as they will be easier to look at on the day instead of searching through the book.

Can't wait til sunday!! Should be good

I'll email this on to everyone on the mailing list so far...

Steve.

Hey WA XR6 Turbo Owners,

I read about your cruise down to Mandurah on Sunday, May 8th 2005.

Its good to see that WA XR6T fans are catching up and sizing up to the HSV fans.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to join you as I'm based in Albany.

But in future please consider a cruise down to Albany.

If your interested I am keen to help organise the cruise and perhaps a burn-out comp at the local motorplex.

Plus let me know how your cruise goes this weekend and count me into the

"WA XR6 Turbo Car Club"

Cheers,

Davyd
