I used the autospeed spray nozzle & vdo pump. I put the pump into a 20L water drum in the back of the ute, & I switch it manually using the traction control switch, this can only be done in the utes, as the traction control switch does nothing!I think using a manual switch is the way to go, its simple & you know when you need it.My understanding, the intercooler is just a large heatsink, & you need to cool it down before the power run. If you use a pressure / boost switch, you're cooling the intercooler basically after you need it.You can also get cheap kits from electronic stores, where you can specify the duration of the water spray you want, & how long between sprays, but once again it's a bit hit & miss.Using the spray it does make a difference, I think it feels smoother & more consistant power, it's hard to explain.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Where abouts is the traction control switch? Is it supposed to be below the fog light switch?Shane

Mines a May 02 build, so I'm not sure if other utes have the switch or not, but at least it looks better than a blank, & it's even illuminated! Press traction & you get Aaron. With the luxury pack, Ive got 2 t/c buttons; one on the dash to the left of the steering above the fog lights and one on the bottom left of the ICC therefore I can convert the dash one to be a manual water sprayer.I think having a thermo fan on the intercooler would negate any improvements by hindering air flow and power drain when its on.A 4psi pressure switch might work but Im no expert so it might be effective after its needed like someone else has said. How about a temp switch on the ic outlet side to turn on the sprayers?Dont know the method but you need some mechanism in place to automagically turn on the ic sprayers during a power run especially with a manual.Max
