Noticed this today... a previous repair that's lasted up until now...

The cable end is just dangling free now.

Man I gotta get mine fixed up, cable feels super stretched. Have to move the handle almost all the way before it pops.

I got a cheap one off flea bay and put it in and it worked a treat. make sure not to break the fuse thingy that it clips onto a mate did it to his and cost alot more. I think I paid $30 bucks or something like that. genuine ford part from a dealer in Melbourne.

my mates still sat on the clip but if you wanted to open it you had to hold it and it would pop alright.

Got my second hand fuse panel and new bonnet cable and now installed. Phuk me dead, don't want to be doing that again any time soon. Big hands make it harder!
