I've checked with Power Torque Engines and they have the TC fix updated tunes available.

Just give them a call to arrange a flash!!

SIXRT,

Have you had yours fixed yet by PTE. If so how longs the wait, as I would like to get mine done ASAP. Is it free?

Regards,

Mick.

I'm booked in to get the reflash on Saturday, April 30. As far as I'm aware, this upgrade is FOC.

Called past HPF this morning to get my A/F ratios checked after a month of Edit bliss :spoton:

All was the same as it left the factory 4 weeks earlier. :spoton:

Asked about the TC Fix, and they said yep, and proceeded to reload all 3 'patched' maps into my CAPA Box, then into the car.

Gave it a quick squirt in the dirt on the way home, (I have to negotiate a 30m patch of dirt road to get to my place :glad: ) , still bagged up the rears somewhat, but not to anywhere near the same amount of spin as the early edit, although not as much control as stock, (basically wouldnt spin no matter what when TC Enabled stock), but even after 2 or 3 secs of semi TC Spin, the system remained enabled. :msm:

Great stuff :spoton:

My previuos T with the unichip would spin quite easily with traction control on to me no big deal

Tell me about it. :w00t2:

When the traction control is on and I give it to it the orange TC light lights up and stays lit till I get of the loud pedal. It's a lot worse now that I've taken my Nitto's off and put the 19's back on. :w00t2:

Geea. :w00t2:

Thanks ST and CAPA.

The traction control is heaps better than before. It basically never existed prior to this fix. :spit:

Now it definately backs the engine off when it tries to kick out in the dry at WOT as well.

Much more betterer :spit:
