Thanks fellas for the kind words.

Seriously though, is it unusual that the before and after results on both Dyno Graphs be Sooooo similar? :glad:  :glad:

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

They arent THAT close. Look at them in detail (especially if you have a pic viewing program that lets you zoom in) and you will see they are close, but certainly not identical.

Got mine back from HPF this morning.  Achieved 241.1kW at the rears  :msm:

Pretty happy with that.

Runs same as stock when nursed, but  :gooff:  does it go when pushed harder.

It now bags up the rears in 1st at about 50km/k, damn amazing.  Although once that happens, the traction control lamp stays lit forever, and cannot be reset without keying off the car.

Now it really gets up and goes when asked, just like it should of from the factory  :kissmy:

Will also post my graph when I get em scanned in :)

I think its running around 9 PSI boost.

Great result gooza, I carn't wait now I'm booked in at HPF Next Thusday. Mines also stock except for XR8 Pod filter with duel intakes. Whats the deal with the "TC" switching off? Is that because of the extra KW?

My only dilema is which maps to choose? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks :spoton:

I asked Rob at HPF for a 95 Octane Map, for when I cant get 98, but they said they were not happy to do that without draining the tank and refilling with 95 :kissmy:

So mine is like Steves, Race Tune (req's octane booster, nulon?? - I'll never use it), Street Tune (98octane), and Valet (3500 rpm).

Would really have prefered the 95 Octane Map to a 'Race Map'.

TC switches off I assume?? due to increased torque and maybe?? the removal of 'torque tags' :gooff:

The tyres (Stock with 9500km) fry at around 50Km/h 1st gear (Auto) at WOT, then the traction lights and stays - bit of a concern in reality. Gunna be downright dangerous in the winter :kissmy:

Is it that hard to get a map with a litlle less timing and boost?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Rob at HPF said initially that they would remove some advance and boost, but it never happened :ibrungatorch:

Given the complexeties, I suppose its understandable, but then I now have a 'Race Map' which is also 'un-proven', as no additives were put in the tank (that I know of anyway :spoton: )

Go figure.

When I had nizpro retune my car, I had my HPF 'race map' in the car. The HPF guys told me that it would be fine with 98 but if I wanted to constantly thrash the car, I would need a can of nulon in the tank. Well on the nizpro dyno, it was found that the 'race map' was pinging its head off - had 98 in the tank, no nulon though. Simon said there was about 3deg more advance than they have ever used on a T, made good power but for how long???

I think it would have need about 10 containers of nulon to be safe

Now with the Nizpro tune in the car, its great, make power earlier and holds it to redline, and all with less timing across the range. And no need for nulon or any additives at all.
