Feel free to ask away on any other Q's :gooff:

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Is there a train station near HPF? :msm:

As I am going to do injectors and springs, Sash is saying 2-3 days for my car.

Dont know I am going to get home and back again to :msm: Dandenong from my place.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Luke, HPF offer a 'loaner' car @ $20/day + petrol.

Although having said that, they didnt charge me for the use of it anyway :msm:

You really cant lose.

PS: I dont think the free Custom Tune will be availble for long. Rob said their pretty comfortable with it now.

So get ready to shell out some more cash boys, for those that wait too long :msm:

awesome Gooza! :msm:

Sounded like you were describing my car for a minute!

That traction light loves coming on and staying on for certain. :gooff:  :msm:

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I have to ask all the guys one question, besides getting more low down power out of the car, and I'm uncertain whether this is possible with this turbo, how can you lay down any more power onto the road.

I cant imagine the car staying on the road with the boot into it with much more power.

Am I so naive :msm:

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

It all depends on the rubber you have. On my 19's with the Hankooks I have serious traction problems if its cold. I have been driving around alot on my 17's with the 245 Nitto's and its awesome I can get all 330rwkw's to the road. Obviously I wont be using the Nitto's all the time but I believe that a high quality performance tyre like a S03 or similar would make a big difference.

Geea, I really cant imagine what 330 + is like to feel & control, given that the smile and the faaaaaaarck factor at the shove from 240 is fantastic.

Cheers, Alan

Thanks fellas for the kind words.

Seriously though, is it unusual that the before and after results on both Dyno Graphs be Sooooo similar? :w00t2:  :w00t2:

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I'd say it's possible that the tune on Steve's car was used in Gooza's car and then fine tuned to suit. Most cars would have a similar standard map and both cars have similar mods.

Got mine back from HPF this morning.  Achieved 241.1kW at the rears  :msm:

Pretty happy with that.

Runs same as stock when nursed, but  :glad:  does it go when pushed harder.

It now bags up the rears in 1st at about 50km/k, damn amazing.  Although once that happens, the traction control lamp stays lit forever, and cannot be reset without keying off the car.

Now it really gets up and goes when asked, just like it should of from the factory  :w00t2:

Will also post my graph when I get em scanned in :)

I think its running around 9 PSI boost.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Great result gooza, I carn't wait now I'm booked in at HPF Next Thusday. Mines also stock except for XR8 Pod filter with duel intakes. Whats the deal with the "TC" switching off? Is that because of the extra KW?

My only dilema is which maps to choose? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks :w00t2:
