Yes, you are spot on with the boost control from early rpm, it was an issue for them but they were always confident of sorting it out.The power is much better when and wherever I need it. You all should get Edited when $$$ permits.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>It will be good to see the graphs, I have a completely stock T and I’m not planning on moding the exhaust yet just the EDIT, I hope I can get 240RWKW at 9psi.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Fr33dy, mines in today at HPF for the Edit, Stock as a rock besides the home made CAI.Ran 195rwkw as is with BP Ultimate Fuel.Lets see what happens when I pick her up tomorrow <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I wait with anticipation I will book mine with a sydney tuner soon Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/16686-mercury-steve-gets-edited-the-results/page/3/#findComment-237502 Share on other sites

A lot of people are in a similar position to you before EDIT - they'd find your description very useful. Guest mercurysteve Guests Posted 31/03/05 07:34 AM Share Posted 31/03/05 07:34 AM Thanks Pashen,O.K, Differences observed in past 24 hours, no particular order. 1) Boost comes on much harder and effortlessly, less effort from the right foot.2) All over the revs, whatever the gear I'm in, she is much "easier" to drive and get along with.3) She is more responsive, particularly under part throttle.4) When changing manually, I really get thrown back much more than before, especially in first and second.5) I am much more confident at the lights, just squirts away quicker and before I know it I'm hitting 100 clicks and backing off. 6) Car is less noisy, definately working more efficiently.7) Although early days, using less fuel (done 150 clicks since Edit) Engine temp gauge is quite a bit lower than before Edit. Strange?I have not even been beyond 110klm p/hr so it's hard to say anything about that part of the cars performance. But if it's not half a second quiclker I'd be very surprised.Feel free to ask away on any other Q's Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/16686-mercury-steve-gets-edited-the-results/page/3/#findComment-237519 Share on other sites
