You can fit any size you want, just need to trim the edge when fitting large gauges such as Blitz :crybaby:LIKE SO

Aahhhhh IC

So what is the hole size when new, Im looking at getting some gauges and they are just over 2" on the barrel diameter or 51mm. Also Blown, was it hard to get the hoses and wires thru to the top of the dash to mount the gauges.

They will fit a 2 1/16" guage when new and after some mods to the lip you can fit bigger, I have 2 5/8" guages in that pod, I just sanded back the lip and it fits snug as, looks better to.

They are caps to put over the screws that hold it down, cant do much about it unless you are good at working with plastic and can transfer the clips from the original onto the pod.

I straightened out a coat hanger and tied the wires to it, moved it slowly down jiggling it around a little and got it all through in about 2 minutes.

It all depends what guage you have, I have boost pressure and transmission temp. So the boost guage has a line running from the guage to line that runs engine vacuum (brake booster in my case) and the trans temp guage is electronic so it has 3 wires, one for power, a ground and the wire that runs to a temp sensor I have had brazed into the side of the oilpan on the auto trans.
