My race map with 328rwkw's has more timing and needs the booster to avoid detonation. I have lost heads on previous turbo cars because of this, but these days it should be very easy to get your timing retarded to avoid the problem... unless there are other fuel delivery problems. It has only happened on 3 occasions all under extreme acceleration. I stopped driving hard instanlty each time. Having said that the car will be getting fixed shortly. As mentioned it only happened momentarily before I backed off the throttle on all 3 occasions.
