Well your mph speaks for itself. It's higher than mine and I apparently have 317rwkw.

Are you sure you had the high map set? Do you need to run octane booster with the high map to make 330rwkw?

Yep I had the right map set. I had the race map with octane booster. I went for a cruise today with my daughter Madison (3) and Mr Turbo (Rob), they can vouch that it was the race map. As can the many quick cars we went flying past. :gooff:

I'm not going to worry about it. It's not worth my time or energy to let it bother me.

I was a little upset at the time mainly cause the first car was a manual Expensive Daewoo Rodeo with a little blower and a tiny intercooler and this made 380fwkw's (or close to that). When I saw this I was expecting high numbers and to get less, well you can guess how I was feeling. :w00t2:

Well its the one time I have to agree with you in that MPH is a better indicator of the potential power of a car.

Anyhow do you always have to use octane booster for the race map (328rwkw)? Have you tried running without it, or does the engine detonate if you do?

I have a high map of 310rwkw's that I usually run that uses 98ron fuel. My race map with 328rwkw's has more timing and needs the booster to avoid detonation. I've never tried to run the race map without the booster, not prepared to take the risk. :spoton:

All dynos are different Craig with Mikes using a DTS dyno whereby the manufacturer makes a claim that they can accurately access fwkw on a chssis dyno, and the fact of the matter is that his simply is not and never has been possible. It can only be an approximation.

In other words, you were doomed even before the car turned a wheel!

OK so do you still use the 270rwkw map or just the 310 and 330?

What fuel do you use now?

At 317 im getting some dettonation under hard acceleration so I might have to get used to using octane booster.

I wonder if around 310rwkw is the limit of power on xr6t without higher ron fuel...?

Give HPF or Nizpro a call they can supply you with a Edit that will fix all your ongoing problems :lol:

Give HPF or Nizpro a call they can supply you with a Edit that will fix all your ongoing problems :lol:

The car doesn't have any problems. Detonation, from what I can see, is because the car is making over 310rwkw and its on suspect RON fuel.

Btw, how's the surging edit program working for you? :Imwifhim:

I mainly use the 270 and 310 maps. I put the 330 map in place of the 310 map. I usually drive around with the 270map as this is enough to beat most cars. If I feel the car next to me is quick I'll flick the switch and use the 310 map. I've never had a car run close to it.

I usually run BP Ultimate and only use the booster when I'm using the race map.

If you're using Optimax this could be part of the problem as I believe they are having trouble having consistantly 98ron fuel. Sometimes its crap.

Cmon Geese, go and see one of your good local edit tuners and get that thing fixed up before it chucks a rod out the side or breaks a piston. You have detonation and high twelve second times, and you still dont think there is a major problem with the setup.....what does it need to do, explode?
