Just to note - the Maxxis website lists two different 235/45R17 tyres (different load ratings) Which one did wheels test and which one have peopel bought?

Doesn't say.

Having just completed 4000+ kilometres on my new 235/40/18Z Pirelli P Zero Nero's

These would be my number one choice in tyres but so far have been too scared to price them in 245/40R18 :msm: .

Might I suggest pricing them in a 235/40/18? You'd save a stack of $$ and would be closer to the rolling diameter of the stock 235/45/17 than if you went for the slightly wider rubber. I priced both 235 and 245 wide rubber in 18" and was surprised by the huge price difference for exactly the same brand/model tyre. :msm::msm:

I'll be getting Goodyear F1's when I finally get my rims. :msm:
