Having just completed 4000+ kilometres on my new 235/40/18Z Pirelli P Zero Nero'sThese would be my number one choice in tyres but so far have been too scared to price them in 245/40R18 . You'd save a stack of $$ and would be closer to the rolling diameter of the stock 235/45/17 than if you went for the slightly wider rubber. I priced both 235 and 245 wide rubber in 18" and was surprised by the huge price difference for exactly the same brand/model tyre. I'll be getting Goodyear F1's when I finally get my rims.
