Hi I have the ze326 on , whats wrong with them? u guys are starting to scare me now cause I just got them and I have no ideas about tyres.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Dont worry lostdude, I just think the factory dunlops gripped a bit better and were a bit quieter than the ze326 in my opinion. The ze326 isnt a very expensive tyre though either. Next time around ill try some diferent :w00t2:

I'm in agreeance with Tango... I have the same tyres I think and they just don't even come remotely close to the performance of the dunlops... next time I'll try the hankooks or hopefully the regal sp9000 (oem dunlop) equivalent will be out and I'll be able to give them a go.

Out of interest... what psi u running in yours tango?

Also got told by Buearepairs the Eagle F1's are good. Had a look around the web for some reviews and found this link.

Then follow a link for a comparison.

In a recent Motor magazine test of 235/45/17 the Maxxis Victra upstaged a couple of premium brands and absolutely wallops them on price (about $200 a tyre). I think the Goodyear Eagle F1 won (about $350 a tyre).

Wheels magazine did a test of 235/45/17 about 12 months ago. For memory I think the Dunlop FM-901 won. I'll see if I can find the results.

What the hell is a tyer ??

tyer:

\Ty"er\, n. One who ties, or unites. [R.]

coutesy dictionary.com :spoton:

The Wheels mag placed the 235/45R17s in the following order....

Goodyear Eagle Revspec RS02 - 99.2/100

Michelin Pilot Preceda - 98.9/100

Maxxis Victra MA21 - 98.7/100

Bridgestone Potenza S-03 98.6/100

Toyo Proxes T1R - 97.6/100

Yokohama AVS Sport V-102A 96.9/100

BF Goodrich G-Force Sport 95.9/100

Dunlop Direzza DZ101 94.9/100

Kumho Ecsta KU19 94.3/100

They did not test the Falken FK451's which I am looking at... :spoton:

IMO they also missed two other important factors, namely wear and cost.
