I have good tyres so I don't need to worry in that regard. I also don't need to worry about having to brake quickly 99% of the time as I don't drive hard on populated streets. Over 300rwkw is easy to use on the street because of the weight of the falcon. You just need to ensure you have adequate braking power and leave plenty of distance to brake if you give it some

I wouldnt mind knowing the traction and treadwear rating of your tyres. You can find it on your sidewalls somewhere.

Nosey b@rstard - want to know what he had for brekky too??

handling...

a mate and I went for a drive down GOR...

his car: 325e with about 2 grands worth of suspension mods, 15 inch rims with 215 rubber, otherwise it's stock, all 90kws of it!

Mine: BA turbo 6M, stock.

well he's a fair nut behind the wheel, but I'm not too sane myself...anyway I could only just and I mean just bearly stick with him...and as we know GOR has a good mix of straights and corners...

Dave.

Can't be bothered looking because I'm a lazy :Imwifhim:

Rest assured they are more than adequate for my car 19X9.5's in the rear provide plenty of grip.

The only problem with this though Steve is this again is opinion. What one considers great handling and traction etc another thinks is very average. Just go read your tyre... Or post what tyres you have and we can research it ourselves.

I won't rest assured because your rear wheels do not provide most of your braking/cornering ability. Your front wheels and tyres and brakes are the most important when it comes to braking/cornering/swerving in an emergency.

All your rear wheels really do is provide extra traction for take offs. But if you have crappy tyres I bet you I'll be able to get a much better take off using my AA traction rated tyres on 17x7.5 (or is it 8") on the rear of your car.

That being said I don't care much about your rears, I'm more interested to find out the traction and treadwear rating of your front tyres (and rears if your cbf'ed).
