Anymore info on this ?  Hopefully something can be done one day for a reasonable outlay of cash.  It's too good an idea to let slip.

It's being developed in the background, Once something is more ready for public consumption, you'll hear some more !

Hi Pretzel,

Did you check out the OBDII Scan tool.  It displays all sensor readings on a laptop.

If you have'nt I can give you the link if you like.  :sleepystuff:

Yes, thanks Macka.

I did look into it, and have had an offer to borrow one for development.

Just need to organise to get it !

Not sure if it is exactly the same one though at this stage.

Hardware wise you could look into dge.com.au. We use them for all our small pc gear. Maybe a bit expensive but they have a few cheaper ex demo etc stock of old 386/486 small all in one boards which may be suitable.

Thanks Matt,

This is a smaller footprint than what I was currently using, I'll look into pricing.

They are hardy little pc's. They withstand very harsh enviroments meaning they are perfect for a car install. Also depending on size of the program required it could be totally run off the flash rom. Quick and painless
