Think it was around $1695. It is fairly easy to take the hooks off, but it might pay to take it to a panel shop that has done it before because the paint will more than likely need to be buffed as the hooks sometimes leave marks in the paint.

the hook tabs simple pop off once youve drilled the rivet out of the guts.

then if there is any scuffing marks where they have rubbed the paint just cut and polish to remove swirls. then simply push in your colored tabs to fill the holes.

Ford will charge you $250 to fit the cover outside of Pre-Delivery and remove the lugs and have them painted and polished.

They will also charge you for the lugs, of which there are 24 I think, and in total expect to pay around $2000 fully fitted with a Ford warrenty.

If you get it done when you buy the car, you only pay for the hard cover.
