Well I took my ford down on monday to get a service and also to get the front bumper and fuel filler resprayed under warranty, now this is where the problem stars first I wait for hours until the get me a loan car for the next 3 days, and to my shock I get an old series 1 AU sedan that came from the second hand lot :spit: ,

so any how 3 days have past sick of this au piss of :pooh: and went down to pick my car up, and yep there she is had here service which was ok priced at $230 with a few warranty issues but the major thing wrong with the car was not fixed, they did not paint a single panel on the car I find out. :spoton:

3 days for a service that must be a new record, well enough said I will stop whinging now :pooh:

Ahhh ... you must have taken it to my service department! I dropped my car off to have some cold start issues addressed and they asked to keep it overnight. Well, I come to pick it up next afternoon, and they had done everything but the cold start issues! Such a helpfull mob :)

A while ago I took my car in for several warranty issues including heat shield rattle and my heater not working. When I picked it up, they told me that they would need it for two days to fix the heater and that they had to order in a new heat shield. Ring up in a few days time, book it in and we'll do both at the same time.

So I phoned up the next week, told how I needed to book the car in for two days to get the heater fixed and the heat shield too. So I took the car in and left it there for this stuff to get done. On the afternoon of the second day I get a call, "We've fixed the heat shield, but we need to have the car in here for two days to fix the heater."

"I know" was my response.

"You know?"

"Yeah, that's why I had it booked in for two days."

"Oh."

So, in the end I had to book it in for two days again! :spoton: And all this time my heater wasn't working too!

Most of them are a bunch of lying carnts if you ask me...

Had mine in for 3 days to get a paint chip touched, guaranteed me the work was done on site, but no, when I picked it up, " oh no sir, only 5kms down the road to the paint shop..."

Drove home that arvo with a new rattling sound - that was the belt tensioner.

"oh yes, they just go..." Well ok, but me thinks they just "go" with apprentices big revs.

If it weren't for some form of warranty, I wouldn't trust them to put air in the tyres!

My T was in for its 30K service today. Friendly service adviser rang me at work saying all Ok and that my handbrake needed adjustment.

Sure I said, good idea.

Collect the car to find I was billed $60 for handbrake adjustment. :spit::spit:
