Brian, your build up has been one of the most interesting things I've followed on this forum, and is the first thing I check when I'm just lurking every few weeks.

You're a great guy, a great driver and you sure know how to build a quick car mate; I'm sure if you decide to transplant the go fast bits that it will be bigger, better and safer than before.

And like others have already stated, the absolute most important thing is that you and your nephews walked away.

Be blessed mate, and if you do decide to go ahead with the transplant then I hope to see the new project soon.

Tim

Geez Brian, I've only read this just now.. Heard from a fellow forumite as I don't get here than much anymore. Your car has been more than a build in progress. It's been an inspiration to many of us. It's the car we refer to when we've been backed into a corner in a heated argument with a HSV V8 driver, import fan or euro enthusiast - and what 'we' refer to as 'the ultimate' XR6T - or Ford Turbo..............

It's gone, that's said and done. Your efforts and persistence will benefit others for many moons, for that we are eternally grateful.

We can only thank 'whoever' that no-one was hurt and that you and your family live to fight another day.

As for the 'next' project? well only you can decide what you want from life. You have nothing to prove, and probably a wife who wants you to prove nothing!!!. Drive the STI's into the ground and enlighten yourself with the purchase of a real car - an EVO :P ( I am .. !! )

Thankyou Brian, we appreciate it...

Hey Brian.....

Firstly good to hear you all walked away from the accident. Your car was the reason I bought mine hehhe... I was a total Expensive Daewoo fan and then one day on youtube I came across this vid of an xr6t and I was gobsmacked!! It was the best sounding thing I've ever heard... Zorst, turbo spooling and chirping into gears I never thought a 'ford' could sound that good.... so in an attempt to copy I bought one hahahaa... I still got a looooooooooooong way to go though...

Bring on a 9sec F6 Terry I say... Good luck mate.

Mike...
