Glad to hear you and your family members were unscathed Brian.

Very sad to hear about your car - It was a unique motor vehicle and many of us here learnt alot from the progressive development of it.

very sad news mate, and im glad that everyone is okay.

be sure to keep us up to date on your next project! I also think that it is great that you got the car back, it wouldn't be right to know that someone else had it.

are you up to posting some pictures?

In regards to aggressive tunes, they are best left to the drag strip. The car had around 400rwkw at just 3900 revs, and came on way too hard, and over 500rwkw at peak. The previous more linear tunes work a lot better on the street. The eboost2 has made the car far less easy to control, and probably more suited to cars with less power.

Wise words, especially those of us making huge amounts of power way down. I am glad I decided to stick with a nice linear build of boost and power, makes the vehicle so much more predicatable - and safer in many aspects.

Pity to hear about the XR6, would have luvved a ride in it ;) But, at least now you can go get the UTE you know you want!! Contrarty to what Adam says, you will have great fun with it - I have both a BF MKII Falcon, and the UTE, and prefer the latter.

But, taste do vary, I will gladly let you take my F6 for a testdrive if you're around Melbourne, to see how she handles the (lower than your's) power levels.

Keep us posted, I am keen to know what you're planning next.

Glad to hear you guys got out ok.

Br,

first off brian glad to hear that everybody is ok!

This car was an inspiration to everybody on this forum and it will will be missed (fortunatly we still have you here). I seriously hope you dont part the car up as it would be such a shame to see this story go that way, given all the work that you and the guys at nizpro have put into that car..

why would GIO not give you salvage rights on the car? that just seams stupid given the amount invested in it! personaly I would be moving XR6T8U MK11 to shanons just in case something like this ever did happen again.

Take care

Nick
