QUOTE(bcl @ Jun 19 2007, 08:44 PM) It shows that no matter how old you are, or how good you think you are, the worst can happen in the blink of an eye. So be very careful guys!Given Brian's experience on the road and on the track, this unfortunate incident should serve as a timely reminder to those out there who have significant power that IT CAN happen to you.All you guys new to the scene who are modding up big time as more of these cars become financially viable to buy and mod, please take care its important to keep in mind this can happen in stock cars as well as the highly modded. I think we are all guilty at times me included - of being just a bit too confident and forgetting the risks.shaz

At least everyone is okay and you managed to buy the wreck back.I know what you mean about the eboost - it does make the power hit very, very hard.I will certainly keep you in mind when driving this stupid thing of mine now. I tips me hat to you mate.Things happen for a reason and it will all work out for the best.Very sobering post indeed Good to hear all humans are OK Brian, such a shame after all the blood, sweat and tears that went in to it though. With all this Sydney rain I've taken out the race tune in mine and put the soft tune in. It was just too dangerous and scary....and that's with HEAPS less power than yours. Doesn't matter how much money we spend on these things, the most prescious thing is life. I must say, you and your car have been an inspiration to me and I'm sure many other Aussies and forum members. It a brighter side, it will be interesting to see what follows on from this new project.
