2MUCHKW Member 350 Member For: 18y 8m 16d Posted 12/11/06 12:35 PM Share Posted 12/11/06 12:35 PM I would love to get Simon to duplicate your engine and put it in my new F6 but a theres a large unknown of the capability of the ZF auto @ your power level.Me thinks you should upgrade to a new BF F6 ZF auto & transplant your engine, suspension & wheels - purely for ZF strenght testing R&D ←Justin,You’ll find Simon’s latest spec engine is much better, as used in Ben’s (gogo) engine.Much quieter, more responsive. 500rwkw versions with excellent response. If you want high revs you’ll need the billet crank.Hopefully we’ll get a chance to compare our engines (Ben's and mine)next week at the Jindabyne cruise. As for ZF 6-speed, I’d love for someone else to test its limits first.Brian←Hey Brian ....I was under the impression that the main difference internally between Bens engine and yours was the latest spec Nizpro custom piston design? If you upgraded pistons to the new spec Nizpro items your motor would be just as quiet as Bens correct?I do realise that you have a fully sleaved Nizpro block, billet crank and cam shafts where as Bens engine just utilises OEM components As far as the Nizpro Stage 4 engine response goes .... is that an effect of the new spec Nizpro pistons having a higher copression ratio or the smaller turbo stage 4 utilizises?Great to hear you suvived the drive home without losing your licence CheersJustin

My rods/pistons will support a lot more than 1000HP, based on what was used in the 1250HP Nizpro prototype engine. My engine was built specifically so that it could rev to 7500 revs, compression ratio at 8.3 to 1 is lower than stock, and more boost can be screwed into it .I believe that latest Nizpro engines (stage 4) will give far better drivability than the standard motor (and mine) as well as 150% more power than a standard motor. If you want to go over say 500rwkw then design requirements start to change. That is one lesson that has been learnt over the last 2 years. It's best to talk to Simon about your requirements.Brian

Different Universe to Adams car.C9 with a stripped interior Vs engineered, 'Complete Package'Sorry to INFLYT, but there simply is, NO comparison to be drawn between these two cars, and you know it.. 'er I'll drop the green stuff on the table that says Brian would OWN INFLYT on the road.. ( and 99% of cars )

Brian noted he has not lost traction in higher gears yet. They must be some seriously tacky tyres and traction seems to be a major issue in 4th + gears on the street. Traction alone would keep this car infront of all.Nice to hear about a well engineered all round package. More vids!!!
