Shorting the rear axles and cutting out some of the inner boot to put in fatter tyres? (for more traction?)Is it meant to be a daily driver or just a pure track car? Also 1000+ cc injectors; special coil packs, Motec with cam & other options (e.g traction control); Nizpro extractors; 3 fuel pumps; external wastegate; huge turbo; new Intercooler, 8000 rev tacho (fpv); whole inlet system upgraded to around 5” piping (except Nizpro plenum and throttle body). ... retain Mal Wood 6-speed & 4" exhaust.Early testing indicated around 500rwkw at just 1.1 bar (as a guide).Car will rev to 7500 revs.I will be able to control boost via a potentiometer attached to the MotecOutstanding:New triple plate Os Giken clutch yet to go, new mufflers, review of inlet system to check for bottlenecks, more tuning... see what breaks. ... tyres & new bonnet???Not sure about retaining 4.10 diff … will test the car first.I'll provide an update soon. Just don’t ask how much I’ve spent …. A ‘pretty penny’ is the response you’ll get. That’s it for now.Brian<{POST_SNAPBACK}>that's amazing ! Cant wait to see the end result

Tubbing out for bigger rear tyres seems like a distinct possibility.I cannot wait to hear how the project turns out. Cheers

That works out to be about 482BHP. I thought that most V8 Supercar teams were quoting 620bhp which is more like 470rwkw.

The car is for street use, and will be limited to 3 days per week, depending on what cars I have available at the time.I don't know yet how much more power is possible, say if I turn the boost up to around 1.7 bar. This Nizpro testing run in December with their motor (of very similar configuration) used a 50:50 mixture of Mobil 8000 and avgas to get over 1200HP and 1476NM of torque at 1.7bar. Remember these cars are very heavy... when weighed at WSID my car was around 1840kg (without me) ... supercars are a lot lighter, I think around 1350-1400kg, and I believe they have 400-450rwkw.I can turn the power down, as required, as many of my turbo cars in the past have run EBC's.Even with 360rwkw I don't think my Ford T will keep up with my STi, so I'll give the Ford some more grunt.
