I don't think the objective here is for investment for an expected return in the future. Geez, you don't spend money on a car hoping to recoup it surely? We are all in trouble here! And I would say that he would get w-a-y more than $30k for it - the most professionally modified T ever (by a long shot) I would say.

And Why? Because he can and he enjoys it!

I think Brians car which is modded in all areas to make the car an all round package would be worth a lot of money (no idea how much though).

In contrast- I feel Adams car was a nice road car, and modded for drag racing, and had issues with CVs, some people didnt like the different auto etc.

I am amazed that Adams car only sold for $30k - but feel Brians would sell for more. Also - agree that it isnt about return on investment - people do this for fun - and the fun costs!
