I gather 9.5 is the norm with T's? you can fit 285's on a 9.5 anyhow can't ya?edit: err, I have 245's, not 145's... lol Edited 10/03/06 06:06 AM by 4LTURBO

I've had em on for ages, I thought there were heaps of others with 10s, I didnt think it was a big deal... maybe you have a different offset? I dont know what offset mine are or anything, all I know it there is about 3mm clearance on inside of rim lol... same with yours?what brakes do you have. I dont know what offset mine are or anything, all I know it there is about 3mm clearance on inside of rim lol... same with yours?<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Thanks, sorry for the delay in replying.1. The Pirelli 285 tyres were way too wide for the 9.5 rims, so 10” wheels was ordered Note that a lot of so called 275 tyres give nowhere near 275 of rubber on the road, more like 245. The Pirelli is close to a genuine 285 …. So beware when changing brands of tyres I.e two 275/30 tyre brands may be very different physically when fitted; and why you can pay a lot more for a tyre.2. Going to 35 profile meant the actual widest part of the tyre (not the tread on the road) was always going to be wider than if a 30 profile was used. I went 35 profile to bring my gearing back 5%, to offest the 4.10 low diff gearing, which is a bit too low for my liking.3. we had to ensure we could also clear the 4-pot Alcon brakes on the rear, so it was tricky to get the correct wheel offset. It was a very tricky set up overall, with minimal clearance on the inside, plus some negative camber was required (I think 2 -3 degrees). Guards were rolled.See post 191 & 193 of this thread for some pics of the set-up, including how the car is now fully height adjustable… this was a custom job done by Simon at Nizpro.
