Mine runs an LSD too...←Don't know the excact ratios but the XR6 sits on about 2000 RPM at 100 where as the XT, Futura and Fairmont are at about 1700 at the same speed. I couldn't see how an XR6 would be slower than a XT. Don't think CitricXR6T does either after reading his last informative post.←I remember reading a wheels or motor article about 6 months ago where they tested a whole pile of cars and XT was slightly faster than the XR6 down the 1/4 and 0-100 due to the extra weight. The XR6 was a fair bit faster around the track however←that's exactly right. With all the above facts it states that a XT can beat a XR6. . Which I think is right. j-bomb you did say that a XR6 N/A could BEAT A VY S/C?? even though it being slower then the XT?? LOL, I dont think so buddy!Realistically if you are saying the XR6 N/A is quicker then VY S/C, (which it isnt), then I might aswell say that the XT is quicker then the VY S/C aswell. It doesnt make sense buddy. A XR6 would have to get over a XT before even getting close to a VY S/C.that's my view folks.←Yes Citricxr6T I did say a XR6 N/A could BEAT A VY S/C. I said this because I have DONE so in my old N/A XR6. It appears your having trouble getting your head around this. I don't know why you find this so hard to believe. What with the VY S/C making a massive 171kw. And where are all the facts about the XT being quicker than the N/A XR6? Somone rembers reading somthing in a magazine? well that's conclusive then.I'll ask you again. Have you actually seen a XT beat a N/A XR6? Because I still personaly believe this would not be the case. But one thing I do know for sure is that a BA N/A XR6 is faster than a VY S/C. ←Pretty simple reallyXT is a lighter car, as the Xr6 has 17" wheels, body kit etc.Less weight means faster car, no one can argue with that.Even if it is a small weight differenceAs I said b4 though the Xr6 is quicker around a track, straight line performance isnt everything←I would like to know what the weight difference actually is. I couldn't see the body kit weighing more than 7-8 kg and the 17"'s are alloy Vs the 16" steel wheels so their proably lighter. I would have thought with stuff all weight diff and a higher diff ratio the XR6 would at least be as quick. I'm not saying your wrong I'm just yet to find anyone that has actually seen a XT beat a XR6 with their own eys. The XR6 is quicker. The facts are all there... Adam said: I've just had a bit of a search around and a place that works on the supercharged 3.8L Expensive Daewoo cars say the best stock time they could ever manage was a 15.3 @ 91MPH on 98RON fuel.A friend of mine has run a 15.1 @ 94MPH in a 100% stock BA XR6 N/A on 95RON fuel with a boot load of crap and 2 kiddy seats in the back. He didn't even go there to race, it was an after thought, so I'd say the car can defineatly go quicker than that.
