Yeah Ivy, and if the quick flash doesn't do the trick then high beam it is. If you can't beat them join them I say.

Now that's irresponsible, but the funny thing is I still sleep rather well at night.

The Cooks Fairmont Ghia has the Fog/Driving lights and it was recalled to have them altered by Ford Due to the Laws in WA.

I didn’t follow exactly what Ford did to get around the law but Now what happens is when you Turn left the Left Fog/Driving Light comes on and when turning right the Right Fog? Driving Light comes on…

I gather this is so you can “See” around corners hahhahaha as they now point more outward and at night it does help a little.

It may be a $100 fine in WA but at least Radar Detectors are Not Banned in WA…. Have you had your picture taken lately? Not I :o :o

Whats wrong with fog light for extra visibility at night, mine do f*ck all to help in the fog we get up here on a nightly basis.

Well, technically they are illegal except for use in fog or poor visibility. Not simply for driving at night. I must say though that the Falcon "fog lights", apart from not having the slightest chance of cutting through fog, are nowhere near as bright as fog lights on cars such as the VX/VY SS and STi, etc. The Falcon fog lights have a deflector like thing at the top which stops the light going too high and also stops it from throwing decent light more than about 10 - 15m forward of the car.

I've been pulled over before and given a warning for using them, nearly copped a fine. I'm not alone on this either. I think Ford should really re-name them as day time running lights since they're useless for fog and that way they could be used any time.

Oh dear... :o "Anything that increases your visibility on the road is gotta be good" - even if it affects OTHER drivers' ability to see where they are going? Please tell me you're not one of these guys (like those Camry Vienta and VN Late model camira drivers) who drive with their high beams on during the day to presumably increase their visibility on the road.

The fog lights look good on cars when switched on.

Wat I dont like is wankers that put nizmo and STI stickers on their cars when it has no relevevance to it wat so ever. It really gets me narky.

It would be like an N/A owner putting a turbo badge on his car.
