Wanted an Auid A4 T but couldn't justify the price or the depreciation. In wanting a car with balls, I couldn't go past the XR. My brother has had his since they were released and always raved about it. I couldn't buy a Expensive Daewoo cause my dad wouldn't let me in his house. (Expensive Daewoo tonner out) so that left the T. So far 951k's and happy

AU was a heap of sh*t so I was waiting for BA and then discovered the turbo BA. One test drive and I was sold. It's a big car and perhaps not the best for the city but out on the open road it's awesome

I needed a new work ute, but wanted something that I could play in after hours. I have owned a few turbo cars before and I knew how much grunt the T would have once modified. jordak Member 1,226 Member For: 20y 6m 3d Posted 19/03/05 07:10 AM Share Posted 19/03/05 07:10 AM The space and comfort that a big car gives you, what with 2 kids / clients to cart around. Nice to see the look on the clients face when you give it squirt after discussing the purchase of his new jag / bmw slug.Major reason I wanted a quick automatic so it was a no brainer really

Had to take my wife and 3 kids all in baby / booster seats.LS1s and BA V8s felt doughie down low. Second on the list was an AUIII XR8.For my needs, nothing else came close!
