Advice Req From Baxr6t Owners On Buying 2nd Hand

Howdy fellow BAXR6T owners.

Finally ready to purchase one these great machines and was wanting any advice/suggestions with any "what to look fors" etc when buying second hand.

(I am already a die hard Falcon fan owning a ELXR8 and AUXR6mk1 (wife) and a 'ol Fairmont Ghia 351)

I am look to buy a Silhouette BAXR6T Auto Ute (preferably) 2003 plate with optional hard cover & spoiler and factory 18" rims. Looking to spend probably upto $35 k (incl GST) with under 50,000 klms.

Ive never owned a turbo car so any comments would be appreciated. Cheers

I dunno if the dealers could tell u or not but see what problems its been booked in for in the past.

if its been in the workshop more than once for overboost,diff clunk,rough idle and such, stay away and find one with a cleaner history.

but as I say, I doubt the dealers would tell u stuff like that anyway. but it SHOULD still all be on fords comp systems.

Check the rubber gromet up behind the glove box if its got a hole or silicon on it pretty sure to say its had mods.

New tyres after 20000kms could say its had a hard life or splits in them
