SilverHawk I agree the XR6 Turbo is a guarented winner it floggs all V8 commodores up to 70 thousand acording to wheels (Motor is full of cr*p VY SS sub 14 I don't think so) and looks hot as HELL I saw a Blood Orange XR6 turbo today and it looked sweet and that's something the new VY Late model camira can't match in any shape or form executive to GTS they all look sh!t azz

BFYB= XR6 turbo you just can't beat it at the price it's at.

I have a manual and I've been scratching my head wondering what all the journos are on about. The only criticism they've made that I've noticed is in regards to changing into 3rd. 2nd to 3rd can be a bit tricky sometimes, but now that I'm getting the hang of it, I very rarely have a problem. 5th to 3rd is virtually impossible to get first go, but this is a gear change that I don't need to make very often so it doesn't bother me.

The only other thing I've noticed is that the gear box seemed very "stiff" to start with, but is loosening up with time. This is something one would expect from a brand new car.

Robbo, I know exactly what you mean. The rev limiter is a bit of a shock when you hit it.

Thanks CJFO77 I thourt it sounded pretty good. I wish that I lived near some of you guys, somtimes I think you forget just how lucky you all are to have the awesome car that you have. I hope that all the owners will try to make it to the FPV day next year so I can meet all of you.

Even Motor has questioned Holdens SS 13s...the 260KW Clubbies with shorter diffs cant even crack 14...but anyway Performance dont make the car anyway...Ford 3rd...Expensive Daewoo SV8 and HSV GTS bagged...
