Hahahahaha.. I come up against environmental law on a day to day basis.. I've actually worked on a jobsite where we were upgrading 7km of highway.. We encountered 'Wild Pineapples'.. Redesigned an entire road so be didn't hurt the pineapples..

Environmental Law = Big bucks wasted by governments.. (Sorry to the greenies but you're full of sh*t and stand in the way of progress)

Yeah...cause pineapples have feelings. That really highlights how farkin stupid some of it is.

I get that we need to be mindful of not destroying sh*t but some of it is seriously whacked. I guess it would be a great stream to get in to as a lawyer though as there'd be plenty of work.

Can only study and learn things that are logical and make sense, otherwise I get too frustrated and just give-up.

Yeah, silly greenies.

There were a whole lot of native snails that were stopping some mining or something, so the department of conservation caught all the snails and added them to their massive snail cache which were to be released again when the land was returned to it's former glory. The thermostat malfunctioned in the enclosure and froze them all solid. No more snail problem :) Killed more snails than about the last 10 years of mining.

What about the team of "Frog Minders" they employed to keep an eye out for the precious froggies around Homebush when the V8s started...

Yea its not overly hard but just confusing as all hell and a lot of work (hundreds of pages of reading!).

Environmental law is only an elective for me so I can choose not to do it! :bliss:

I kind of wish I wanted to do environmental law just so I could fight all the greenies! I grew up on a farm in NSW and the murray darling basin authority wanting to take water from our farmers for 'the environment' is just farking frustrating!! Why do we need frogs and fish to live yet it doesn't matter that farmers won't be able to survive!! Arrghhh!

Yup, they had "officials" on patrol around the outside of the track to make sure that there were no real life attempts at frogger...

Haha don't joke about it.. The Tugan bypass has special crossings underneath it designed for frogs..

At huge expense to taxpayers..
