F*ck me, I NEED to get into one of these jobs.

$26 an hour in IT just isn't cutting it these days lol

All the hype around IT jobs a few years ago really took its toll on the labour market. So much for good pay.

IT still pays sh*tloads. You just need to get out of support roles. Indians took that overseas.

A SAP consultant generally talks with the big wigs of companies to design a framework in order to implement the SAP software package. It's a lot of hard work and requires an extensive finance and business analyst background. From what I know anyway... We have a massive project here in Brisbane (possibly what old mate is working on as well) where the contractors are paid minimum $650 per day, ends in September though!

Name: Keaton

Age: 21

Sex: Male

Location: Brisbane, QLD

Occupation: Level 3 Desktop Support

Drive: BA2 sedan.

Next car: R33 GTR

Married: No

650 aint much for a SAP consultant. the ones I work with on large projects are anywhere from 1100-2k a day

All this talk about IT. But is it a real job. Our computers always have faults, our IT guys must be useless.

Shy mate.. If you're not sure what you wanna get into.. Jump into the mines.. Places like Anglo and BHP take on people in cadet roles.. Starting pay is 60k with 10k yearly increases till you graduate uni.. Admittedly you need to work and study but it's friggin awesome..

Fmd..I'm finding this info out 4yrs too late, chose the wrong career haha

Don't get too excited, these guys are on these wages after years of school/training and gaining experience. Like with most decent jobs you have to be in it for years to earn good money.

Not saying it's not impossible to walk into a 100k+ a year job just not that common.
